We discuss recommended vaccines, required vaccines, malaria prevention, traveler’s diarrhea, and other health precautions.

Yellow Fever Vaccine
PrimeCare is a certified travel health clinic and can provide Yellow Fever vaccine when appropriate and available.
ICVP Documentation
We can provide an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis when required for eligible vaccines.
Malaria Prevention
We review malaria risk, mosquito precautions, and medication options when appropriate for your destination.
Food & Water Safety
We discuss traveler’s diarrhea prevention, safe food and water habits, and medication options for travel.
Special Travel Concerns
We can discuss high altitude travel, diving, pregnancy, diabetes, oxygen use, and other medical considerations.
Timing Matters
Schedule early when possible
Best timing: 6–8 weeks before departure
Some vaccines require multiple doses or time to become effective. We encourage travelers to contact us as early as possible.
Minimum notice: at least 2 weeks when possible
PrimeCare requires a detailed travel itinerary before your consultation so we can prepare destination-specific recommendations.

Travel medicine consultations are typically considered elective and may not be covered by insurance. Vaccines, prescriptions, and special-order immunizations may have separate costs. Please call our office for current pricing before scheduling.
