Dr. Zaid provides Personalized Medicine

“Moving away from traditional medicine was not easy and goes against my fabric of taking care of as many people as I can.  It was not an easy decision, but one that was made so I could be proud of the product I produced.”

“Traditional medicine slowly took away the ability for me to give my patients the time they needed.  In this new model, I have essentially unlimited time to dive deep into topics that affect body and mind.  I can see my patients in the hospital, same day in my office an virtually.  I am also able to read more on all the newest advances in medicine and to refocus on healthspan vs lifespan.”

My patients get my cell phone, a comprehensive wellness visit and more availability to me.

On October 1, 2024, I will be offering a personalized care program that puts my patients in focus.  It was not an easy decision but allows me to practice medicine like I did when I first started practice.  My availability to patients in the office, hospital and when they need me has skyrocketed.   Part of what I look forward to is treating patients with the goal of providing tools to live a better healthspan and not just a chronological lifespan.

Dr. Zaid is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Michigan State University Medical School. He finished his residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc and is board certified in family medicine.

Though trained to care for pediatrics, adults, geriatrics and sports medicine, he has taken interest in many areas including childhood asthma, dermatology, diabetes, and osteopathic manipulation.

He grew up in Walled Lake and is very enthusiastic to start to give back to his community. He enjoys golfing and writing and believes that the key to a healthy lifestyle involves great communication between physician and patient coupled with good preventative medicine.  Good decisions can be made only when there is cooperation between family and physician.

He also believes that the Family Doctor is the quarterback in the health care team and needs to make sure that the patient is informed and making the best decisions. With that responsibility is deciding which specialist or treatment makes the most sense for each situation.  He is a father to a daughter and two sons and appreciates the care needed for a growing family.

He also feels that it is important to see his patients when they are admitted to the hospital so that he can provide the best continuity of care.

Prevention is the key to maintaining good health and at PrimeCare of Novi, Dr. Zaid and the other Novi Family Doctors use evidence based medicine to make the best decisions. We have an electronic medical record which allows us to send information to other offices in Novi or anywhere in the country within seconds.

All of the physicians at PrimeCare preach consistency and you can be assured that they will be on the same page when it comes to your healthcare.

Dr. Zaid has published articles on Osteoporosis, Asthma and Electronic Medical records.  Make an appointment with Dr. Zaid cause he can’t wait to meet you!
