Reviews can last forever

Before you write a review, realize it may stay online permanently. Ask yourself whether what you have to say will genuinely help someone else — perhaps years later — make a decision that might affect their health and their life. Accept responsibility for that.

Are you writing from anger?

Anger can be very appropriate — but words written in haste are rarely the best way to help someone else. There are better outlets, like contacting our office directly or reaching out to your state licensing board if there is a serious concern. A calm, considered review serves our community far better.

The person and the practitioner are different things

A competent physician may not always have the warmest bedside manner — and a warm physician is not always the most thorough. Try to describe your experience objectively, separating your personal impressions from the clinical care you received. Both matter, but they are different things.

Focus on what helps other patients most

Other patients do not need to know your test results — they need to know whether your concerns were heard and addressed. The most useful reviews cover things like:

A specific review is always more useful than a vague one. Multiple experiences with a physician or office carry more weight than a single visit — but both perspectives matter and both help our community. Come to an honest conclusion, and be direct about what you experienced.
