About Jonathon R. Wolocko, MD

Dr. Wolocko is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He also completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University with a major in Biology. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Providence Hospital where he saw patients in Southfield, Novi, and South Lyon. He is board certified in Family Medicine.
He grew up in the Westland community. He coached high school football and was a substitute teacher at his alma mater John Glenn High School in Westland. In his spare time he enjoys playing and watching sports (especially baseball and football), spending time with family and friends, and exercising.
As a family physician he is trained to take care of all aspects of the family, including pediatrics, adults, geriatrics and sports medicine. He has a special interest in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, diabetes management, geriatrics and sports medicine.
Dr. Wolocko is a strong believer that preventative medicine is the key to good health. He values open and honest communication between him and his patients to help form a partnership to work together to meet their medical needs. He believes that when it comes to medicine, more is usually not better. He will work with patients to ensure that they are only on medications that are absolutely necessary.
