IMG_3310Please call ahead to schedule a convenient time for a blood draw. This will limit the amount of waiting time to have it done. If it is to be done fasting, do not eat for 8-12 hours before having it drawn. It is encouraged that you have non-calorie liquids like water or black coffee during this time to avoid dehydration. To avoid missing any meals, please schedule your blood draw early in the morning with an overnight fast.

Please also call ahead to reserve a time for other visits that do not require you to see a physician. These include injections, urine screening, ProTimes (for those on coumadin), nerve conduction testing, 24 hour holter-monitoring, immunizations, blood pressure checks, and x-rays.

Please note: While we are happy to draw blood in advance of your physicals so results are available for your exam, we do need an order from either one of our physicians or one of your specialists, with a diagnosis, in order to draw and order these tests.

Our nurses and Medical assistants provide an extensive support network for our patients in terms of arranging prior authorizations and free drugs for those that qualify. If we can help you in this regard, please let us know. While we provide this service for free at the present time, it is time consuming and the staff appreciates your various methods of appreciation.
